Into March
Well its early to add an entry for the month, but I really just wanted to share what I had so far as it was very exciting for me. i'm terribly happy.
[03/06]: to begin this month, I would like to start with this very incredible news for me. My startup has its very first user generated content and it was freaking incredible because its not just a simple user casually browsing to the app. Theyre someone valuable for my startup. Who will make bigger impact than casual users consuming content/event.
I wake up this morning to the sight of a completed user profile in my database. They have input for location, bio, name and even profile image which is AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!. Were going to be a unicorn company someday ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! LMAO, just kidding , nobody can tell the future.

[03/03]: I freaking started doing the CS50 course of harvard. It was incredible. The teaching style, the projects so far and what I read from problem sets. I wanted to finish it this month but I i dont feel thats plausible since I have other things to take care off but it was amazing. I can fill the fundamental knowledge gaps i have from this. Im thankful they open it to the public for free. Such an incredible value.
For people that wants a incredible start in computer science. This is the best I found in the last 2 years and many people believe it was the best starting course for CS so please try it if you're just starting out. You will never regret it.
When i was just starting at thee very beginning i dont even know how to start.
So first off, just go to this link:
It has all the instructions you need to follow to submit your assignments and stuff. To make submissions just go to the problem set link at the bottom. Make progress week to week until week 10 which then you should be able to build your software project and to top it of you can obtain this certificate all of that for free!
Regarding freelancing, I saw people talking about onlinejobs.ph and i got curious and checked it out. I signed up last month they have verification for ID's before you can apply and you have to contact their customer service after 3 days to manually be verified.
This site is a great start for us filipino when starting freelancing. Please try it out when youre just starting freelancing instead of fiverr and upwork because thats too competitive. The site purpose was to hire VA/freelancers from philippines only so you got no competition other than your own fellow filipino which i will tell you is much better against competing on indian people who are tech savvies and have low/lower wages.
[03/06/26] I applied on one job post like 3 days ago and today march 6 I read this stuff. After applying on a COO role on an AI company. The role combines growth and technical operations and is a part time job with a rate of $15 an hour. Which is like incredible. But really i cant accept this i dont want to go on a call interview knowing I fumble speaking in english all the freaking time and i dont want to reveal to anyone who can overhear me that Im applying for jobs and beside I have other plans this month. I believe god has other plan for me why I wont accept such a great opportunity.
[03/31] I dedicated this month to learning. Sadly that decision also comes with a big cost in the meantime. Though I didn't fully postponed looking for clients or job, I started back at it again this march 21. But the condition of the market perhaps due to the war. People are wary to spend on anything and the prices for commodities especially transportation surged everywhere. So I wouldn't call it bad luck or anything or the past month lucky month.
Not to be totally feeling helpless about my current situation. But I've got some pretty great progress in my programming.
I was even planning to do my first open source project next month or so and also submit it for CS50 as the last project or something. Ill definitely do that, Itll be built with react because im also learning it from freecodecamp(FCC) and codeacademy. When I dont have any client which in fact was true for the entire month. I didnt have anyone new. It was unfortunate, I cant help but notice what I was lacking this month, and my family financials is going to toilet. Ill have to do something about this soon. But again ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
The only thing I spend on this month was the TDC for driving and the medical certificate. I already got it I had it around March 14. And till now I still havent gone to LTO to acquire my student drivers license.
But anyways since this month I was mostly learning here are things I got and did
I stopped around [3/20] on CS50 because I have to learn react. Since I thought a client might still be interested in building their dashboard. Hes not. I also stopped because financial issues are getting more urgent. I needed to pause.
CS50 is really wonderful. I hope many people discovered it if theyre into CS sooner in their careers so theyd have great foundations. I stopped at tideman there, I feel confused about the syntax of C at first but I keep asking and thought my way through until it needs recursion or like checking neighbors. Which I have no clue how to implement. So on the last two of the predefined functions I already asked chatgpt to finish it. I honestly dont know why they give many boilerplate, I didnt understand at first what theyre doing CGPT guided me through the thinking.
I'm really happy I'm getting some grasp on some foundations of programming. I wish I started this sooner but... Its alright.
This month isnt the greatest but I learned a lot of programming this month in fact more than the entire last two year just vibe coding.
I also found it strange that I didnt signed up for Github Education yet I got verified somehow. It has a lot of benefits which im going to take full advantage of next month. Its incredible but very unexpected it mustve to do with being enrolled on CS50. To wrap March up. This month gives me massive personal/career value. I didnt have money this month, due to not landing a single new client. My old clients just one thing and another. Multiple employers, but didnt go through for personal reasons and because Im trying to optimize my way through.
I also notice that I make a lot of excuses on this entry. I really do think that. I cant help it, I still feel quite saddened about the turn of events. Well, I also wanted to share a pdf planner online. I wanted to remind myself of the things I wrote on it as it pertains to self care. And I wanted to become more stoic and balanced in my thinking that said not being too idealistic nor pragmatic. So I thought about filling the pdf I found. Here's mine as an example.

I almost forgot. My startup site. Finally hit 3 digit monthly visitors from google organic search result. This is great but I'm trying to target Philippines I dont know why the site is getting popular in Egypt lol. Nonetheless Im still thankful for it.
