Into June

Into June

At the beginning of the month I actually thought it will be easier than my month before.

Turns out I'm dramatically wrong.

Really, I was thinking about "Hey I have a new side gig and it will pay well as long as I'm obedient. Were just going through some rough patch thats all." Also even though I was thinking I might be dealing with a bad person there. I never thought Ill be down in debt. At the beginning of our conversation I was already hesitant but I thought to myself ok ill just do it for a small money. I would never depend on it. But then ahhhhhhhhhhhh.

My paypal account has seen better days lol.

I'm kinda tired of blurring stuff out. So theres just that.

Now even though I'm basically negative at this point.

I still lend my remaining money to someone.

I don't know. I guess if they needed it more now. Then I'll just give it.

It just makes me a little uncomfortable sometimes to sit without any saving.

Because my equipment is really breaking down. And i feel sorry to myself that I cant make my situation better any sooner.

Oh another heartbreak was.

3 of my reddit accounts got banned.

2 of which is something I mostly used to find freelance projects.

Now its just gone.

I find it hard to earn any karma on reddit but most importantly there goes my old memories. My attempts to make friends, people Ive ever talked to, that memory where I switch between those 2 accounts when I was just using it for my first users for play store testing. That was a lot of memories. Just gone because I desperately wanted to earn even a tiny bit of money.

You see I took this reddit marketing thing. Where I comment / make post where i promote product/company but they provide the content. I just post it on my account the pay was $3 per successful post on the condition that it also stays posted for 3 days and a mandatory commenting on any post 5 times to prevent a ban.

My 3 reddit accounts and hours of postings.

Man all of that for barely $20.

Sighs.

One more.

You know we've been here on this apartment for the past 2-3 years now.

Our new neighbor seems friendly.

I never took courage to speak to them when I see them.

I dont know.

I recognize them since I see them a lot at the beginning.

And one of them just moves out.

I dont know.

And at the time when I'm unwinding. (2PM)

I feel a bit of jolt of sadness when I see him leaving with a suitcase.

He didnt even drove his motorcycle.

I never talk to them but they seem like nice people.

I feel a bit of sad to see them go.

sighs.

Now this month had I got any certificate?

None.

Here ends my learning journey with Datacamp.

I almost freaking finished that track. As you can see i doubled my already doubled effort on that last day because i thought the expiration of my subscription would be 2/3 days ahead. I didnt even acquire any certificate huhuhu.

Although its not of a big deal for me. I know datacamp really well at this point now.

It was more introductory courses at least for all things I've tried.

Everytime a video finishes. A feeling always remained when theres too much syntax introduction. Like mann. I only get typing practice from doing this. I also read from a comment from reddit. Which struck to me as very relatable.

But I dont hate it. I mean I get introduced to so many things. Which helps me expand my discovery. And ask later about those things. The only problem is you dont really get to internalize anything much unless its repeated across chapters or different courses with a new angle. Which some courses do repeat or do overlap in content. Though i find that a bit annoying sometimes as well. Like dang can't we just focus. Most courses you get are different instructors.

So that ends my experience with Datacamp.

I didnt really learn too much on programming in general this month.

I'm almost finished with Freecodecamp python. The tower of hanoi is interesting.

The look of moves the program expects seems random at first. But from asking, I see that its actually more precise, as even prefaced by the test that it was a mathematical puzzle. So i have that as my biggest hint. I tried coming up with solution but my brain currently models the problem as something to simulate not something you can accurately mathematically model have worked on it yesterday.

There goes my 2 attempts to gain certification this month. From Datacamp which i failed. And from codecamp which i failed to obtain this month.

But i do learn a lot of programming with firebase or server side. I actually learned asynchronous programming on codeacademy. Well again more so because I'm interested in API's this month because im building something related so i practice some problems on my own. Codeacademy style of teaching feels better than Datacamp in my opinion. With less syntax focus but still high velocity of introducing new syntax frequently. But what I like more about it is sometimes you get to code a project for some courses I believe.

I'm very close to finishing my web app. The website for Evently. Though I promised on my current website headline that a new big update will come to the site this month. I still yet I still havent finished. Big part of the reason was I'm handcoding most of it. Except mostly the design factors. But still current design is still 90% made by me.

The mobility I get from understanding my codebase and database had made development time significantly faster than giving all coding tasks with AI a year ago.

I couldve shipped the most critical features this month but I thought Ive already built most of it that my mobile app has. Why not complete it the right way. So ill be extending the time to next month before the site will go live. But itll be quick imo.

Attaching this image for my future reference.

If there's something good that happened this month to me beside my website's progress.

Its that I got accepted into 2 bootcamps!

I dont know what to expect though.

I'm also doing a lot of self care this month.

I did my bucket lists, decluttered my google notes and for some reason I also lists my old anime, movies, youtube channel watched list.

Because I just feel too lonely this month.

Taking a step forward of taking care of myself I had a motivation app. Regularly opened as you can see. I have a streak of 61 days!

I stopped searching for emotional companion online.

I just tried to let it be.

Oh but I'm seriously opening slowly again tomorrow.

I tried to prepare myself for anything.

I know that nothing would change if i open the app.

But internally there could be a big change. I'm just trying to prepare myself for shock, disappointment, sadness and other negative emotions. I miss writing reading a letter.

I miss the feeling of waiting for something. And feeling of a real conversation even when the person youre talking to is across thousand of kilometers.

And sighs yes. I'm curious how's vynce.

sighhhs.

But anyways. Looking back the reason I said at start that I thought itll be a good month was that I thought the gig I got could at least provide some money so I could focus on my startup I mean thats partly what I set my month this month to be focused on as well as career.

I thought things will go alright this month considering I had startup momentum going and a gig going and things happening with the family financially is going well.

I thought this month would feel like sun rise but in hindsight i think its the opposite of sun rise.

It's quiet and a little dark this month.

But I believe this too shall pass.
