Into July
Wow, time flies.
I still feel like I'm dealing with my old computer screen problem and going to informatics. All of it still feels new.
Currently writing my first draft at 1am in the morning.
Its odd but I think the main reason was my new laptop screen is having the same problem. Same screen issue but the old laptop screen issue was a lot worse but I just got this huhuhu. But anyways I wont complain that much I already extracted big value from using it these several weeks. I didnt even thought Ill get this you know. The reason roots from problems last month hahaha and is quite a bit of story. So I might as well start with that one now because that seems to be the biggest unlocking feeling achievement I had this month.
Last month, I was wrong about thinking I might just recover half or a bit of money from the scammer or to someone I was already talking to about the problem. Whose account was involved in receiving the proceeds. We talked for weeks!. Discussing how to catch the scammer or filing police reports, he is freaking refusing saying "we dont have enough evidence yet". So thats a bit of a red flag. I threatened to file a police report myself. Certainly he responds quickly. I think I tested his limits or pushed far enough where he couldn't pretend anymore loll. Now after sometime, around June's end. He's saying if he could at least provide some of it he's willing to give 100 for it just to recover a bit of it. Then we talked and talked until he just unhesitatingly paid the full amount. Even after he paid the full amount I still think it was him that scammed me he was full of hesitations and seems like he's faking some of what he's saying. He was only a year older than me as it turns out.
I received the money in binance. Which was my first time. It was kinda scary I immediately converted it to Gcash via P2P.

The experience was new and was for me to keep. It was quite a story. The day I got the crypto currency. I went to church as I promised to myself. It was a beautiful orange calm sky when I went back home with the cash in hand.

Now the day that I actually bought a second hand laptop was different. It was a week later. I looked it up from facebook marketplace. I was waiting for someone come back to baguio because they can't hand over the laptop but I just settled on one that can give it sooner because I really want to do the mobile app and my old laptop is most likely incapable.
This month I wondered why the best days of my recent years was spent outside when its raining its really odd but I guess I've now developed big big likings for when going out raining. Back to the story yes I got the mcbook when it was raining. The feeling of this day was superb. I cant contain my excitement to get home and try it like Ahhhhhhh!

Onset it already has some some issues like 4 keys which is sooner to be 5 keys werent working. All of them are really common keys and so at first its annoying because I feel like Im more focused on typing the keys correctly than thinking what to type.
Now weeks later. The screen is failing. Dark lines started appearing until this evening where darkness is now consuming not just the docker but its starting with the notch as well.
Its very likely that I will be back to using my external monitor soon.
Issues aside.
Thinking about the experience now. I thought. I couldn't focus or I'm not giving enough effort to look for ways to make money. I'm not doing hard enough. Well its not just that but it seems that the circumstances has turned since when I first started freelancing it was really easy to get new clients and stuff but looking back I thought there was a big reason as to why I was getting those clients.
I could only really wondered that God has really planned things out. I feel like God sent those clients. I thought God's plan was a lot more than what I had set for myself.
I wanted to look back and enumerate the times I feel terribly saved from circumstances that could struck me head on that might have impaled my journey if I wasn't saved so I was truly very grateful.
One reason I feel saved this month was maybe without having this new equipment I couldn't finished what I'm working on. It couldve took months. And my situation where I'm looking for ways I can earn money seems bleak maybe the reason I got scammed was to teach me a lesson and eventually and actually to give the capital I would use to buy the new laptop. Isn't that a wonderful journey on its own?.
Yes, its quite a lot. So. Im very freaking thankful. I'm overflowing in blessings. You know having the laptop not only means a better way for my startup's development but also it gives people around hope. Hope that soon itll be ok. That I had things planned even though mostly I dont. So I'm really really happy.
Now. Lets move to more stories.
This month I was oddly more calm.
I feel like I've written more this month than my past 2 months combined. Like code and just written words. I received a lot of letters in slowly I didnt respond to most of them though but the ones I did I was pouring my feelings and stories into lol.
I was also stressing over what I plan doing on my birthday and let me tell you until now I haven't figured huhuhu.
But I guess. When it comes it is what it is. I will just be grateful that I had another milestone in life.
Now whats crazy this month was.
I took a leap of courage to myself. I bit my fear for a good minute lol.
I was screaming. I was frantic. I keep rehearsing and keep making mistakes.
What am I doing?
I recorded myself. Speak-ing to freaking camera.
I applied 2 days before the deadline on YCombinator.
I have a very lean chance but to me applying was still an achievement especially that I recorded myself.
filmed with the laptop
Another one was. Applying to founder's institute I dont know why theyre not one of the talk in town or at least from what I'm hearing online. But they have chapters all over the world and get this they offer 25k usd credits in google once you finished the program. That was my main motivation. Well not just that they offer other things as well and they have lots of mentors/partners so that program was really really valuable. Its only Idk like 500usd? for the full price.
So the story began with sir Paul the head of hifi. Was Idk was asked to have one rep for hifi for scholarship for the program.
He asked whos interested, they just submit a short pitch of their startup and themself. At the end of the day it was 5 of us and to make selection fair he did a virtual duck race. And sadly I didnt win but I was happy for the person who won.

Anyways you can get a free assessment as a founder or just yourself in general if youre interested in applying oddly to get this assessment youre also agreeing to apply to the program. It assess like your style or behavior in certain scenarios and such, it also has IQ test style questions by the end.
Heres mine for example.
Also so when you apply they'll mention theyre only selecting a hand few of people which I dont really know if its accurate but if it is I'll be more proud that I got accepted and once I said that I can't proceed the regional director of founder's institute gave a 50% discount. Honestly I wouldve grabbed this in the get-go if only I have the money huhu. He even connected with me via linkedin which is kinda odd.
About my pasts participations in programs like bootcamps.
I dont know I just feel like its not well planned or thought out or maybe theyre just settling to that kind of engagement to people? I dont know but if I were to launch bootcamps and stuff I imagine peoples position should be at least significantly be better than when they just entered my program.
Lastly but most importantly.
I spent the majority of my time on the website and mobile app and its development.
The website is deployed since July 16 morning. I grind it all night to finish it lol. I have two apps deployed. NextJS for the SEO critical routes and React with just the messaging, dashboards and stuff. I'm now also working with PostgresQL for the places autocomplete.
On mobile app. The google sign in is now working on mobile as well as Appcheck which both took me at least 2 months to fail implementing. Well part of the reason was I already know some programming unlike before that I completely vibecode.
The schemas and how the database was designed was now 10x better or so my feelings was.
I laughed at how ugly and terribly messy the mobile code was I get that the younger me was just slapping things in it and its working and he was scared to touch any of it because he didnt understand it.
Just before August. The website data structure of events and such was now ready for SEO and I'm freaking excited. I worked for like 3 days straight to make the data structure ready for production and SEO.
Finally, this month I started to get in partners, casual, saw one person willing to help design a website, asked him about some design and he helped, he was more willing to help than just design but we settle down until both the website and mobile app are ready that we can take more action together. Was also participating more in my communities. My discord servers is now more than 1k combined. Which was unimaginable. I didnt think I could even reach that when I just created the servers. I found people who are willing to help engange with the community as well so I'm really grateful for that as well.
So there's this month for me.
Things were getting pretty exciting.
I was full of blessings this month and I'm blissful.
Even before the end of this month. I get to see kagawad alan again. I missed him. I was really thankful for a lot of things that happened this month.

One final thing. I thought I have to do something as once the event ended or the virtual event ended on 100XVC ended I didnt find my name in the website but I looked again and there it was. Its crazy.
Oh I forgot to mention yes I was also admitted to 100X nic2 in partnership with DOST.
But anyways. I hope August was even better!.
